We’re pleased to announce that the Children’s Aid Society of Toronto (CAST) has been named again this year as one of Greater Toronto’s Top Employers by Mediacorp Canada Inc., organizers of the annual Canada’s Top 100 Employers competition.

We’re proud to receive this award that recognizes organizations with exceptional human resources programs across areas including health, financial and family benefits; work atmosphere and engagement; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement. As part of this recognition, CAST has been profiled on page 30 in a special Globe and Mail magazine here and on our profile here.

As shared by Lisa Tomlinson, our Interim Chief Executive Officer, “with an average tenure of over 14 years, many of our staff members are choosing to grow their careers at CAST. That’s why we’re dedicated to building a workplace that provides every employee with the right tools, education and opportunities to achieve their goals, become leaders in our sector, and advocate for the children, youth and caregivers.” This includes evolving our processes for hiring, supervision, health and safety, training and communications while remaining focused on ensuring we have an engaged, diverse and supported workforce across all departments and levels.

The past several years working through the pandemic have demonstrated the strength of our organization, and this award reflects our teamwork and success. We’d like to congratulate every staff member for this significant recognition and for their continued work supporting the vulnerable communities we serve.

We encourage anyone who is interested in joining our team and making a difference in the lives of families, to review our current job vacancies here
