At CAST, we believe it is important to engage with students at every stage of their education, even in first year, to spark interest in child welfare and to share the many ways this work continues to evolve. Our practice is rooted in equity, partnerships and community collaboration, and we want students to see that there are opportunities for a wide range of skills and career paths.

Beyond frontline roles, child welfare also offers meaningful careers in legal services, human resources, data and research, finance, property management, communications, IT, and more. Meeting students face-to-face gives us a chance to answer questions, share insights about our work, and encourage the next generation of professionals to consider the impact they can make.

That is why this Fall, we will be on campus at career fairs across the Greater Toronto Area. We look forward to connecting with students directly to share more about child welfare, our Agency, and the opportunities available now and into the future.
