The Children’s Aid Society of Toronto (CAST) is pleased to share its 2024–25 Annual Report.

This year’s report highlights a period of resilience, renewal and continued commitment to serving children, youth and families across Toronto. It reflects how we continued to meet Service demands while laying the groundwork for long-term sustainability. From strengthening community partnerships to advancing operational and financial efficiency and supporting staff well-being, the report captures the dedication and impact of our teams across the organization.

Among the milestones featured is the development of our new five-year Strategic Plan, shaped through extensive engagement with staff, Service Users, community partners, and sector leaders.

While the full Strategic Plan will launch this fall, we shared key elements during our 2025 Annual General Meeting, including our new strategic directions and commitment statements. The plan will guide our priorities through 2030 with a strong focus on Service excellence, equity, staff engagement, and collaboration.

Lisa Tomlinson, Chief Executive Officer of CAST, noted that the report not only celebrates a year of meaningful progress but also sets the stage for the work ahead:

“This past year has been about more than meeting the needs of today. It has been about building toward a future where CAST continues to lead with purpose, strengthen its partnerships and deliver services that centre children, youth and families. The Annual Report reflects that journey, and we look forward to sharing more this fall when we formally launch our new Strategic Plan.”

The Annual Report is available in English, with a French version coming in the days ahead.
