PARC is pleased to offer its well-received Financial Literacy Workshop Series for 16 and 17 CIC (child in care), RSG and VYSA youth during the weeks of July 14 and July 21. The topics that will be covered will include banking fundamentals, understanding credit and debt, taxes, wants and needs, living on your own, budgeting, and OSAP.
Participants can select ONE of the following weeks:
July 14, 15, 16: (10:00 – 12:30) OR July 21, 22, 23: (10:00 – 12:30)
Downtown Toronto
Snacks and Presto cards will be provided
Please speak with your Worker to register for the week you want. Youth must attend all 3 sessions to get their certificate and OCBE funds. Once the youth complete all 3 sessions a certificate will be mailed to the youth and worker, so that the worker can release the OCBE funds.
