We encourage members of our communities to join us, as volunteers, to support our work with children, youth, and families who cross paths with our Agency. At the Children’s Aid Society of Toronto (CAST), we turn to our dedicated volunteers to support us in upholding our mandate to build “a city where children are safe, families are strong, and communities are supported.”
We’re currently accepting applications for the following roles:
Volunteer Mentor, Big Steps to Success
Facilitated by our partner, Big Brothers Big Sisters Toronto, Big Steps to Success is a mentorship program specifically designed for children and youth in care. As a Volunteer Mentor, you’ll support a young person involved with our Agency with a focus on improving their educational engagement and outcomes. Volunteer Driver, Children’s Transportation Centre (CTC)
As a Volunteer Driver, you’ll support CAST and the Catholic Children’s Aid Society of Toronto, by providing rides for young people in care to and from their homes, visits, and appointments. As an integral part of our team, Volunteer Drivers help to ensure children and youth, from infants to teenagers, are provided with safe and supportive door-to-door service and supervision throughout the transportation process.
