Volunteering

Volunteers have always played a strong and important role in the service we provide to our children, youth and families; their dedication enhances and complements the services provided by our staff, foster parents and organization by building bridges between our clients and the community. Our dedicated volunteers help support Children Aid Society of Toronto's vision, mission and values, click here to read the full mission statement.

We thank those who are interested in becoming a volunteer, however; at this time due to changes to our programming, we are unable to accept volunteer applications. We will update this page when the application process re-opens and we encourage you to check back periodically for potential opportunities.

We do however, encourage all who are eligible to apply to become a Volunteer Mentor through the Big Steps to Success program run by Big Brothers Big Sisters Toronto in partnership with CAST. As a Volunteer Mentor, you will support a young person between the ages of 7 and 14 who is living in care with a focus on improving their educational outcomes.
